Job summary

One&Only Moonlight Basin is seeking a Manager, Lobby Bar & Lounge to lead Dear Josephine and Moonshack outlets, elevating beverage programs and guest experiences from day to day. You will supervise teams, craft menus, and ensure service excellence with a focus on profitability.

The role requires leadership, F&B expertise, and the ability to drive revenue while maintaining luxury standards. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected in this fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of management experience in ultra-luxury hotel/resort or high-end bar/lounge.
  • Extensive Food & Beverage experience with cocktail development and beverage programming.
  • Strong understanding of outlet operations, financial performance, inventory control and revenue generation.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of Dear Josephine and Moonshack outlets, ensuring service standards.
  • Develop and execute innovative beverage programs and signature drinks.
  • Curate beverage offerings; stay current on industry trends and techniques.
  • Support beverage experiences, events and activations.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of food & beverage through standards and training.
  • Monitor guest feedback and address questions and concerns.
  • Lead, coach, and develop outlet teams through briefings and reviews.
  • Drive revenue via pricing, menu engineering, inventory management and cost control.
  • Implement upselling strategies leveraging product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Monitor inventory, orders, receiving, storage and waste to maximize margins.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and alcohol service procedures.

The Manager, Lobby Bar & Lounge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Dear Josephine and Moonshack outlets at One&Only Moonlight Basin. This role ensures an exceptional guest experience through consistently elevated standards of food and beverage quality, service, and hospitality. This individual will provide hands‑on leadership to each respective team, driving operational excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Dear Josephine and Moonshack outlets, ensuring colleague activities meet service standards
  • Manage the develpment and execution of innovative beverage programs, including beverage selections, cocktail menus, signature drinks, and seasonal offerings
  • Curate beverage offerings continuously, staying current on industry trends, new products, and emerging techniques
  • Support engaging beverage experiences, events, and activations that enhance the guest experience
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of all food & beverage offerings through menu awareness, recipe standards, quality control, and hands‑on service leadership
  • Monitor guest feedback, proactively responding to guest questions, requests, and concerns
  • Lead, coach, and develop the outlet teams through regular briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews
  • Drive revenue through strategic pricing, menu engineering, inventory management, and cost control, maximizing profitability
  • Drive revenue through effective sales strategies, using upselling methods that integrate product knowledge and personalized recommendations
  • Monitor beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and stock levels to maintain product availability while minimizing waste and maximizing margins
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health requirements, and responsible alcohol service procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director, Outlets or other members of management
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of management experience in a comparable role within an ultra-luxury hotel/resort or high-end bar/lounge
  • Extensive Food & Beverage experience, with strong knowledge of cocktail development, beverage programming, and elevated service delivery
  • Strong understanding of outlet operations, including financial performance, inventory control, and revenue generation
  • Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Adaptable with the ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
