Position Overview

Reporting to Operations Leadership, this role is responsible for comprehensive oversight of the system of record, including but not limited to ongoing system development, configuration updates, release planning, and enhancement cycles that support evolving business needs and strategic initiatives.

The role ensures the continued stability, scalability, and performance of the Loan Origination System (LOS) by identifying improvement opportunities, optimizing system functionality, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.

In addition, this position plays a critical role in strengthening integrations across the technology ecosystem by partnering and collaborating with cross‑functional teams responsible for applications that push and pull data from the system of record. The position will drive coordination of development efforts, validate end‑to‑end process impacts, and support data governance and quality initiatives to enable accurate, efficient, and compliant loan processing workflows. This role also contributes to long‑term technology roadmap planning, representing LOS priorities and ensuring system capabilities evolve in line with organizational goals.

Core Functions and Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high‑performing team of LOS professionals, ensuring strong performance, continuous development, and a collaborative, growth‑oriented culture.
  • Lead and actively contribute to enterprise projects and initiatives, including enhancements to Broker and Borrower portals and other customer‑facing or operational platforms.
  • Create, implement, and oversee governance frameworks for origination system‑of‑record development, maintenance, and change management to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance.
  • Analyze and evaluate system workflows, data flows, and operational processes to identify optimization opportunities, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Support and oversee the review, movement, and integrity of data across systems, teams, and processes, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and effective end‑to‑end connectivity.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for manager and employee inquiries, providing guidance on data, reporting, system behaviors, and process‑related questions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, including job aids, user guides, and procedural documentation to support user adoption and competency.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in reporting, data management, and LOS capabilities to ensure ongoing product and system readiness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, influencing stakeholders and promoting alignment on system strategy, governance, and operational needs.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, regulatory requirements, and best practices, reinforcing a strong culture of compliance and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Encompass, including configuration, administration, and workflow management.
  • Proven experience managing people and leading teams; demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and drive performance.

Compensation and Benefits

Hiring Range: $130K-$155K

Compensation within this range may vary based on each candidate’s job‑related expertise, skills, and experience. Final offers are determined individually, reflecting the unique qualifications of each candidate.
