  • Develop and maintain project trackers, diligence request logs, closing condition checklists, and other tools to monitor transaction progress and outstanding deliverables.
  • Track corporate approvals, including board resolutions and shareholder consents, and coordinate legal document execution, escrow arrangements, and third-party consents.
  • Manage transaction closing exchanges and compile complete, well-organized closing binders.
  • Serve as the primary project manager for strategic initiatives requested by attorneys and internal business partners, establishing clear responsibilities, communicating expectations, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Oversee contract organization, classification, retrieval, and auditing to ensure documents are accurate, accessible, searchable, and appropriately maintained throughout their lifecycle.
  • Administer contract management resources and collaboration tools, including iManage, DocMinder, physical files, and associated software licenses.

  • Analyze and synthesize information from Finance, Human Resources, IT, Programming, and other cross-functional teams to support transactions and legal initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve legal workflows, documentation practices, project tracking, and overall departmental efficiency.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working directly with broadcast media and/or entertainment contracts, including talent agreements, vendor agreements, and transactional agreements such as purchase agreements.
  • Strong understanding of contract terminology, standard deal structures, transaction processes, and legal documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex transactions and projects, including building or maintaining contract databases and virtual data rooms for transactions and audits.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project trackers, managing deadlines, and monitoring deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate, organize, and synthesize information from multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize competing demands in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
