This role partners closely with the Executive Leadership Team and functional leaders to align learning priorities with business needs, and owns the LMS, training vendor relationships, and measurement of learning program effectiveness.How You’ll be Rewarded:Batesville is a family. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.IMMEDIATE ELIGIBILITY – Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as prescription coverage, short-term disability, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more.Generous 401K Matching ProgramPaid time offOpportunities for development and advancementWhat You'll DoDevelop and execute Batesville's enterprise-wide Learning and Development strategy and multi-year roadmap in alignment with business priorities and workforce needs across sales, manufacturing, logistics, and corporate functions.Design and deliver leadership development, management training, and career development programs that build bench strength and support succession planning across the organization.Partner with functional leaders to identify skill gaps and build technical, safety, and compliance training programs for hourly and salaried associates.Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to design and execute effective sales training programs for all levels of sales associates, from onboarding through advanced consultative selling and product/portfolio training.Own the learning management system (LMS) strategy, including content curation, course catalog management, completion tracking, and reporting on learning effectiveness.Design and facilitate onboarding and new-hire training programs to accelerate time-to-productivity and reinforce the Batesville Operating System.Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external training vendors, consultants, and content providers to supplement internal L&D capabilities.Establish metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of learning programs on engagement, retention, and performance.Manage the L&D budget and collaborate with the HR Leadership Team to ensure learning initiatives support broader talent management and workforce planning strategies.Other duties as required.What You'll Bring:EducationBachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or a related field; and a minimum of 5 years related learning and development, training, or organizational development experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in instructional design and leadership development.Skills/ExperienceAdult learning theory and instructional design methodologies (required, expert)Sales training and enablement program design, including onboarding, consultative selling, and product/portfolio training (required, expert)Leadership and management development program design and facilitation (required, expert)Group facilitation and public speaking to audiences ranging from plant-floor associates to senior executives in both virtual and in-person environments (required, expert)Learning management system (LMS) administration, reporting, and content management (required, intermediate)Project and budget management (required, intermediate)Experience designing training for a multi-site, manufacturing or industrial workforce, including hourly and union-represented associates (preferred, intermediate)Proficiency with virtual and hybrid learning delivery tools and content-authoring software (required, expert)TravelEmployee must be able to travel 20% of the time.Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
