Job summary

Batesville Casket Company, LLC is seeking a customer service associate to answer product questions, enter orders, and provide top-notch support to funeral professionals and families. You will handle inquiries, process orders, and maintain customer records with accuracy.

The role requires good communication, call-center experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends or holidays if needed. Strong MS Office skills are expected; JDE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, or 1-2 years related experience.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset.
  • Experience in a call-center environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, edit, and process incoming customer orders and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Receive, evaluate, and answer customer inquiries promptly.
  • Receive, settle, and follow up on inquiries and complaints to ensure action.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and direct relationships with key customers.
