Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Laboratory Manager to ensure patients receive high quality, efficient care. You will lead technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory and guide a skilled team that values collaboration and continuous learning.

Responsibilities include performing tests and assuring quality and timeliness, driving ongoing improvement of laboratory services, and providing technical consultation for all lab specialties, including the respiratory department.

Qualifications

• Certification as MT (ASCP), CLS, or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology is required.
• General knowledge of all Laboratory functions is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and scientific operations of the laboratory.
• Perform tests and ensure quality and timeliness of testing.
• Promote continuous improvement of Laboratory services.
• Provide technical consultation for all specialties in the laboratory, including respiratory.
• Support staff and act as a clinical resource.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will be responsible for technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory.
• You will be responsible for performing tests and assure the quality and timeliness of testing.
• You will encourage an ongoing program of improvement of Laboratory services.
• You will provide technical consultation for each of the specialties/sub specialties in the laboratory including respiratory dept.
• You will provide support and be a clinical resource for staff.

What Qualifications You Will Need:
