Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Laboratory Manager to provide technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory at our Kingwood facility. You will perform tests, assure quality and timeliness, and drive an ongoing program to improve laboratory services.

The role includes providing technical consultation across specialties, including respiratory, and offering support as a clinical resource for staff.

Qualifications

• Certification as MT (ASCP), CLS, or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology is required.
• General knowledge of all Laboratory functions is required.
• Minimum 7 years full time laboratory experience in high complexity testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and scientific aspects of the laboratory.
• Perform tests and ensure quality and timeliness of testing.
• Lead program of continuous improvement for Laboratory services.
• Provide technical consultation for all specialties/sub specialties including respiratory department.
• Support staff as a clinical resource.

What You Will Do In Your Role:
