How you will contribute

You will:

  • Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on defining and executing global and local policies and change initiatives, understanding their impacts.
  • Collaborate with function leads and middle managers to create and deliver functional priorities and plans, providing strategic guidance.
  • Leverage data analytics to drive business solutions and decisions, support operational processes, and translate insights into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Keep People Services informed of local legal and regulatory changes.
  • Lead and advise on talent management within your business unit, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning, and talent mobility, approving job requisitions.
  • Build capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence.
  • Manage works council relations and guide HR to ensure successful labor policy implementation and legal compliance.
  • Consult on overhead management.

  • Maintain respectful relationships with union leaders, conducting regular sessions and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Develop and monitor labor relations indicators for each site.
  • Establish monthly follow-up meetings with sites, documenting outcomes.
  • Support compliance with RIT and other labor policies, updating them periodically.
  • Support joint commissions and ensure a healthy work environment between union representation and management.
  • Implement labor relations strategies and support salary and contract negotiations.
  • Assist in labor terminations to mitigate legal risks.
  • Follow up on HR investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop labor audit processes to ensure compliance with working conditions.
  • Promote a culture of labor and union compliance through training.
  • English language proficiency at an advanced level.
