Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Manager of Labor and Delivery to lead daily operations, staffing, and delivery floor performance. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and maintain compliance with policy and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have appropriate nursing credentials (APRN or RN) and leadership experience, with ACLS/BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications. Join a large private employer with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• APRN or RN credential required.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the unit/department.
• Monitor nursing care per policies and procedures; ensure quality outcomes.
• Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
