Job summary

The Manager at HCA Florida Capital Hospital oversees daily unit operations and staffing to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will ensure adherence to policies and supervise nursing teams to meet demands of a busy acute-care environment.

This role requires RN (or APRN) with appropriate certifications and a strong commitment to staff development. You will partner with clinical leaders to optimize outcomes and ensure safe, compassionate care across shifts.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications obtained within 30 days of start date.
• APR N (APRN) or RN licensure required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily function and staffing of the unit/department to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor nursing care in line with policies, and hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
