Job summary

GoJet Airlines in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Manager of Labor & Employee Relations to bridge leadership and employees, ensuring healthy, compliant workplace relationships.

You will guide leaders through complex employee matters, support performance management, and help shape a culture based on trust and accountability. Responsibilities include leading investigations, advising on policy application, maintaining FMLA/ADA documentation, and partnering with HR to promote consistent employment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, HR, or related leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing employee concerns, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and applicable labor and employment laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels.
• Ability to balance organizational objectives with employee needs while maintaining fairness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for employees and managers regarding employee and labor relations matters.
• Advise leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, corrective action, workplace concerns, and other employee relations issues.
• Conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations and provide recommendations for appropriate resolution.
• Administer and maintain documentation related to FMLA, applicable state leave requirements, and ADA accommodation requests.
• Monitor changes in labor and employment laws and support updates to company policies, practices, and the Employee Handbook.
• Partner with leadership and HR to promote consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
• Assist in developing and delivering training for leaders related to employee relations, compliance, communication, and workplace expectations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations documentation and records.
• Support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, workplace culture, and communication.
