Job summary

Crocs, Inc. in Broomfield, CO is hiring a Manager, IT Systems Administration & Operations to serve as a technical lead for endpoint management and systems administration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems or endpoint administration.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware, Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead for endpoint management and systems administration operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, documentation, and service quality.
• Build and implement standards, procedures, and guidelines for endpoint deployment, patching, security, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless support and escalation paths.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments with a focus on scalability and security.
• Manage endpoint platforms (Intune, Patch-my-PC, JAMF).
• Oversee software packaging, deployment, and patching across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Support upgrade and maintenance cadence with IT Security.
• Ensure compliance with security policies via endpoint hardening and baselines.
• Maintain and support core IT infrastructure (servers, AD, DNS/DHCP, Exchange, virtualization, SharePoint, cloud services).
• Monitor system health and perform regular maintenance.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a Tier II systems administration team of 3-5 staff.

Overview

What You'll Do

• Serve as a technical lead for all endpoint management and systems administration operational activities.
• Acts as an agent of change driving continuous improvement in processes, documentation, and service quality.
• Build and implement standards, procedures, and guidelines for endpoint deployment, patching, security, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless support and escalation paths.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments with a focus on scalability and security.
• Manage endpoint platforms (Microsoft Intune, Patch-my-PC, and JAMF required)
• Oversee software packaging, deployment, and patching across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Support upgrade and maintenance cadence in partnership with IT Security
• Ensure compliance with security policies through endpoint hardening and configuration baselines.
• Maintain and support core IT infrastructure, including servers (Windows/Linux), Firewall upgrades, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, Exchange mailboxes, virtualization platforms, SharePoint, and cloud services (Azure).
• Monitor system health, resolving performance issues, and perform regular maintenance.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a Tier II systems administration team of 3-5 staff.
• Own remediation strategies for COTS applications and ensure timely resolution of application issues.
• Assign tasks, review technical work, and support career development for team members.
• Enforce security controls, endpoint encryption, and vulnerability management protocols.
• Partner with Information Security to remediate vulnerabilities and address audit findings.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and configurations.
• Generate regular reports on endpoint compliance, system health, and performance KPIs.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in systems or endpoint administration.
• 2+ years of team leadership or technical lead experience.
• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune required), Active Directory, PowerShell, VMware, and Office 365.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and ITIL principles.
• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM), EDR platforms, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor in a fast-paced, technically diverse environment.
• Dedication to continuous improvement and innovation.

Salary or Pay Range: $105,000 - $125,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
