Job summary

Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA seeks an experienced technology leader to drive delivery and production support for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM within Finance. You will manage a team and coordinate with Corporate Financial Reporting and Controller functions to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience; 5+ years in technology leadership or PM
• Experience delivering enterprise tech solutions in finance/accounting or corporate reporting
• Strong project and delivery management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and production support for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM platforms for enterprise finance
• Manage a team of 6 direct reports and 1 contractor with coaching and performance management
• Partner with Corporate Financial Reporting and Controller teams to translate needs into scalable tech solutions
• Oversee systems supporting general ledger, financial close, reconciliations, tax and board reporting
• Drive key finance transformation initiatives and strategic goals
• Manage backlog, enhancements and production support to ensure reliability
• Lead Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, sprint planning and continuous improvement
• Ensure timely evaluation and implementation of monthly/quarterly Oracle Cloud updates
• Build stakeholder relationships and act as trusted advisor across business/tech
• Monitor delivery metrics, identify risks and implement mitigations
• Foster high-energy, collaborative team environment amid leadership transition

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and production support for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM platforms supporting enterprise finance functions
• Manage and develop a team of 6 direct reports and 1 contractor, providing coaching, performance management, and leadership direction
• Partner with Corporate Financial Reporting and Controller teams to translate accounting, financial, and reporting needs into scalable technology solutions
• Oversee systems supporting general ledger, financial close, account reconciliation, tax reporting, and board-level reporting (10Q/10K)
• Drive execution of key initiatives aligned to corporate finance transformation and long-term strategic goals
• Manage backlog, enhancements, and production support activities to ensure system reliability and responsiveness
• Lead Agile delivery practices, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and iterative improvement
• Ensure timely evaluation and implementation of Oracle Cloud monthly and quarterly updates and patches
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor across business and technology teams
• Monitor delivery metrics, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies
• Foster a high-energy, collaborative team environment and provide stability within a team that has experienced leadership transition

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in technology leadership or Project Management roles
• Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within finance, accounting, or corporate reporting domains
• Strong project and delivery management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM (e.g., FCCS, ARCS, TRCS, Narrative Reporting, GL) preferred but not required
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Familiarity with AWS and Workiva
