Job summary

The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA seeks an experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM delivery and production support for enterprise finance functions. You will guide a team of six direct reports and one contractor, mentoring them to deliver high-value finance solutions.

You will partner with Corporate Financial Reporting and Controller teams to translate needs into scalable technology, ensure timely updates, and maintain system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years in leadership or IT delivery roles.
• Proven leadership energizing teams, building engagement, and delivering results.
• Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions in finance, accounting, or corporate reporting.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM preferred but not required.
• Strong project and delivery management skills in complex environments.
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery with backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
• Coordinate timely Oracle Cloud monthly/quarterly updates and patches.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor across business and tech.
• Monitor delivery metrics and mitigate risks proactively.
• Foster a high-energy, stable team environment during leadership transition.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and production support for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM platforms supporting enterprise finance functions
• Manage and develop a team of 6 direct reports and 1 contractor, providing coaching, performance management, and leadership direction
• Partner with Corporate Financial Reporting and Controller teams to translate accounting, financial, and reporting needs into scalable technology solutions
• Oversee systems supporting general ledger, financial close, account reconciliation, tax reporting, and board-level reporting (10Q/10K)
• Drive execution of key initiatives aligned to corporate finance transformation and long-term strategic goals
• Manage backlog, enhancements, and production support activities to ensure system reliability and responsiveness
• Lead Agile delivery practices, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and iterative improvement
• Ensure timely evaluation and implementation of Oracle Cloud monthly and quarterly updates and patches
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor across business and technology teams
• Monitor delivery metrics, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies
• Foster a high-energy, collaborative team environment and provide stability within a team that has experienced leadership transition

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in leadership or IT delivery management roles
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to energize teams, build engagement, and drive results
• Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within finance, accounting, or corporate reporting domains
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM (e.g., FCCS, ARCS, TRCS, Narrative Reporting, GL) preferred but not required
• Strong project and delivery management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Familiarity with AWS and Workiva is a plus
