We invite applications for the role of Manager, IT Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting. This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of change. The candidate must understand and articulate differences between various financial products, their operational processes, and technologies, with an appreciation of the regulatory landscape. The role involves defining, identifying, and delivering strategic solutions for controls, risk management, and problem resolution, working effectively across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as SME for Transaction reporting systems.
2. Identify and screen reporting tool vendors.
3. Apply technical business analyst capabilities.
4. Act as liaison between Business and Technical teams.
5. Review and refine Functional Solution Documents.
6. Coordinate internal resources and liaise with third parties/vendors for development, testing, change management, and releases, including issue tracking.
7. Support business teams in defining requirements and translating them into technical specifications for technology teams.
8. Coordinate technical requirements gathering, estimation, and planning for projects or work streams.
9. Facilitate workshops and data supplier engagement.

Qualifications we seek in you

• Good understanding of Regulatory Reporting processes and directives (e.g., EMIR, MIFID II, CFTC, SEC, ASIC, HKMA).
• Security finance experience (strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience with SFTR regulation (almost a must).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, FDD).
• Experience as a Business Analyst / in Change Management within financial services.
• Extensive project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to create BRDs and User Stories.
• Excellent communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Experience with Agile & Waterfall methodologies and tools.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in IT or software development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000, with actual offers based on experience, skills, location, and internal factors. Note: This role is a work-from-anywhere position, but candidates in Los Angeles, California, are not eligible.
