Job summary

Walkers Bluff Casino Resort in Illinois seeks a Technology Manager to oversee Engineering and Telecommunications, guiding the technology team and ensuring reliable enterprise networks across Elite Casino Resorts properties.

You will lead network engineering, manage outages, coordinate vendor relationships, and participate in modernization projects. A CCNA/CCNP and 6+ years of experience are required, with travel between properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering or telecommunications experience.
• 2+ years in technology leadership or management preferred.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent professional certifications required.
• Travel between Elite Casino Resorts properties required.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise network engineering, telecommunications administration, operational support, troubleshooting, and approved infrastructure deployment initiatives across all Elite Casino Resorts properties.
• Oversees administration, configuration, maintenance, support, monitoring, and operational performance of enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, wireless systems, firewalls, telecommunications platforms, VPN connectivity, switching infrastructure, routing infrastructure, ISP connectivity, and voice systems.
• Manages and coordinates operational support activities for network engineers, network administrators, telecommunications personnel, vendors, carriers, and support providers.
• Assists with enterprise network architecture planning, infrastructure modernization, telecommunications upgrades, carrier coordination, firewall administration, wireless deployments, and operational continuity initiatives.

Job description

The Technology Manager will oversee Engineering & Telecommunications and is a technology leadership role within the Technology department responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, operational reliability, and engineering of enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure across Elite Casino Resorts, LLC properties.

Essential Functions

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering or telecommunications experience within a complex operational environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of technology leadership or management experience preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications required.
• Travel between Elite Casino Resorts properties will be required.

Full-Time; M-F 8:30am - 4:30pm, on call escalation, varies
