Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Manager in Georgetown, TX to lead accuracy across raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and service inventory. You will drive cycle counting, physical inventories, and KPI dashboards in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in supply chain, operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of inventory control experience in manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of leadership/management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, physical inventory, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead inventory control operations across raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and service inventory.
  • Develop and maintain inventory accuracy standards, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Manage cycle count programs and annual physical inventory processes.
  • Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are accurately maintained within ERP and warehouse systems.
  • Partner with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Lead inventory reconciliations and support month-end/year-end close.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
  • Support new product introductions, ECOs, and material transitions.
  • Partner with IT to improve inventory-related processes and system functionality.
  • Manage, coach, and develop inventory control team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit standards.

Job description

Role: Inventory Control Manager

Location: Georgetown

Duration: Full Time

Compensation: $95k - $115k+ 10% Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Inventory Control to lead inventory accuracy, cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory optimization efforts within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

This individual will oversee inventory across raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and service inventory while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Production, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and IT.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills and experience managing complex inventory operations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead inventory control operations across raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and service inventory.
  • Develop and maintain inventory accuracy standards, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Manage cycle count programs and annual physical inventory processes.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are accurately maintained within ERP and warehouse systems.
  • Partner with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance to maintain inventory integrity and material availability.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Lead inventory reconciliations and support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and process standardization.
  • Support new product introductions, engineering change orders (ECOs), and material transitions.
  • Partner with IT and business systems teams to improve inventory-related processes and system functionality.
  • Manage, coach, and develop inventory control team members.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and audit standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of inventory control experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, physical inventory, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing and reporting inventory data.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders throughout the organization.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience within electronics, technology hardware, server, semiconductor, or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale or high-volume manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM or CSCP.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with WMS, barcode scanning, and automated inventory tracking technologies.

This is a fully onsite leadership position in Georgetown, Texas and is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to manufacturing and warehouse operations while driving measurable improvements in inventory accuracy, efficiency, and controls.
