You have come to the right place.****Summary** The Inventory Manager leads inventory control operations, directs a team and owns inventory accuracy, aged inventory reduction, and inventory-related financial results. This role sets regional inventory processes and standards and partners with Operations, Purchasing, Finance, Customer Service, and Administration. **Essential Functions*** Lead SAP training and competency standards for warehouse and inventory teams* Own aged inventory targets for branches and the region, and drive reduction plans with branch leadership* Oversee and approve returns to vendors and RTV purchase orders, up to established authority limit* Partner with Finance to resolve claim invoice, receiving, quantity, and cost discrepancies, and lead root-cause prevention.* Serve as the regional escalation point for warehouse and purchasing issues.* Maintain stock lists/settings.* Ensure cost accuracy and data integrity for material setup and system transfers.* Set aged-material liquidation strategy and pricing guidelines for branch-level sales.* Analyze regional inventory reports (aged inventory, cycle count progress, not-picked orders) and present findings and recommendations to leadership.* Partner with Purchasing to set and maintain Purchasing Cockpit data standards.* Establish, audit, and enforce warehouse and purchasing best-practice procedures.* Design and manage the regional cycle count program, including frequency and variance thresholds.* Lead resolution of system inventory discrepancies, directing team members on corrections.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and cost.* Other duties as assigned **Education & Experience Required*** Associates / 2 year Technical School* 4+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations**Preferred*** 2+ years supervisory experience* SAP Experience* Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish) **Skills & Competencies*** Ability to lead, develop, and hold a team accountable for results* Ability to analyze inventory data and present recommendations to leadership.* Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates and co-workers* Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner* Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues* Displays willingness to make decisions* Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions* Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process* Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems*If you like working with a growing close knit team and helping home owners design the home of their dreams, come build your career with us!*All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, individual with disabilities, veteran status, gender identity or national origin.
