Job summary

Fortra is seeking a Manager, Procurement to oversee procurement across global locations, shaping strategy, building a team, and partnering with executive leadership to drive value.

You will streamline vendor selection, contract evaluation, and spend management, collaborate with Legal and Finance, implement systems, and develop policy training to ensure consistency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong professional experience in Procurement, contract review and vendor management; strong understanding of financial reports, including variance of actual vs budget.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance Leaders to establish global procurement strategy, processes and procedures.
• Partner with finance to streamline vendor base and manage spend against budgets.
• Integrate procurement strategy across acquired teams and ensure governance over vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with Legal and Security to ensure strong controls over vendor contract management.
• Develop and train procurement policies to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Provide timely vendor and third-party spending data to Finance.
• Drive system implementation and enterprise-wide adoption and optimization.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve performance goals.

Manager, Procurement you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement for all global locations. This includes driving strategy, working with the executive leadership team, overseeing successful execution, building a team, team development and management, operations, and key initiatives.

• Collaborating with Finance Leaders and team to establish a global procurement strategy, processes, and procedures
• Partnering with finance to achieve short- and long-term goals for streamlining and rationalizing vendor base
• Working with acquired teams to integrate their procurement strategy, processes, and procedures
• Collaborating cross functionally with Legal and Security teams to ensure strong controls and governance over vendor contract management

Managing a procurement team responsible for:

• Working closely with legal department to develop and execute a strategy to streamline vendor selection, contract evaluation, and negotiation process
• Working with finance organization to align procurement strategy and process with purchasing and budget control procedures (e.g., Managing new spend and upcoming contract end dates in a robust contract management cycle that is aligned with approved budgets
• Assisting in developing and training on procurement policies and procedures to ensure consistency throughout the organization
• Partnering within Finance to provide accurate and timely vendor and third-party spending data
• Monitoring supplier performance and communicating issues, as well as working with internal customers in various parts of the organization and external customers to ensure that contract needs are met, and issues are resolved.
• Drive system implementation and enterprise-wide adoption and optimization
• Managing team performance and productivity, coaching team members to be successful

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
