Job summary

Jimmy John's Sandwiches is seeking a Manager-In-Training to lead in a fast-paced shop, with a structured path to advancement within The Natelli Group Family. The MIT will develop operational mastery, lead a team, and ensure compliance and quality control while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The role offers an hourly pay during training, with progression to a Shift Manager position and increased responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience in food service, fast-paced execution, or customer-facing roles is heavily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operational Mastery: memorize the full menu and makeline; slice meat and cheese; bake bread to perfection.
• Team Management & Training: manage shift labor; train staff on procedures; enforce dress code and policies.
• Compliance & Quality Control: follow Compliance Metrix procedures; log temperature checks every 3 hours for food safety.
• Customer Experience: create a welcoming atmosphere; resolve customer concerns; ensure accurate orders.
• Additional Leadership Duties: oversee cash handling, opening/closing checklists, inventory and truck orders.
• Lead by Example: set pace, precision, and professionalism for the team.
