Job summary

Hertz Local Edition in Moon Township, PA is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn every aspect of running a successful rental location while delivering excellent customer experiences. You will participate in structured training and real-world tasks to prepare for a potential Branch Manager role in 12–18 months.

The position offers hands-on exposure to sales, operations, fleet logistics, and branch administration, with development toward leadership opportunities within Hertz.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or other professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the rental car business through hands-on training in sales, customer service, operations, fleet logistics, and administration.
• Support branch sales goals by building customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and applying effective sales techniques.
• Deliver a positive customer experience by helping customers through the rental process and resolving questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including fleet inventory, vehicle preparation, lot organization, documentation, and compliance tasks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand scheduling, team communication, performance coaching, and business metrics.
