Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

The role covers Sales, Operations, Fleet Management, and Leadership Development, with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service and achieving location goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: support team with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: shadow and support management; build skills in scheduling and performance coaching; prepare for future leadership roles.
