Ready to build a career in operations leadership? SBM's Manager-in-Training (MIT) program is a 9-week, hands-on path into site leadership - no two days the same, real responsibility from week one, and a team invested in getting you there.
From day one, you'll be immersed in the day-to-day of running an SBM site - learning directly from site leaders, safety experts, and client operations teams. By week three, you'll be applying what you've learned in real scenarios. By week nine, you'll have the operational foundation and leadership skills to step into a site leadership role.
Graduates move into operations leadership roles across SBM's sites - the specific next step depends on your track and location, and your mentors will help you find the right fit as you go.
SBM has been a leading workplace services provider for more than four decades, founded in 1982 in Sacramento. Today we're a minority-owned company of 12,000+ associates supporting more than 1,000 sites for a Fortune 500 client base across the U.S., Latin America, and Asia - with an industry-recognized safety culture and a genuine investment in developing our people.
You're a natural leader who hasn't had the title yet - someone who takes ownership, thrives in fast-paced environments, and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to figure out how things really work. You ask good questions, build trust quickly, and bring a competitive drive to everything you do. Relocation-ready and eager to grow, you're looking for more than a job - you want a career with momentum.
