First Student, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Development to join our Belton, MO on-site team. This leadership track offers a direct path to management in student transportation, with mentorship, real-world exposure, and ongoing career growth.

The program emphasizes rotating across dispatch, safety, HR, and finances while you learn every aspect of running a location. You will work closely with managers to staff, schedule, and ensure safety and compliance, building relationships with staff,

Qualificações

Leadership and team management aptitude.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to relocate to Belton/Grandview, MO.

Responsabilidades

Dive into daily operations - learn how to run a location from the ground up.
Take part in rotations with multiple departments, including dispatch, road supervision, safety, finance, and HR.
Work side-by-side with experienced managers, supporting staffing, scheduling, safety and compliance.
Lead projects, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
Build strong relationships with staff, drivers, and school partners.
Support the Location Manager and help deliver safe, reliable service every day.
