Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field.
  • Professional HR certification, a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience; marketing industry background, a plus.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to influence and lead.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and current HR practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Workday and Microsoft Office (Teams).

Job Description: We are seeking an HR Manager, with solid business partnering background who has experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This position will be hands‑on, with a balance of strategic and tactical engagement and will be responsible for providing a wide range of human resource expertise and guidance to employees within multiple client groups operating in key corporate functions in support of the company’s values, inclusive culture, and business objectives. Based at our NY corporate headquarters, the ideal candidate will be comfortable partnering with all levels within the organization in support of key initiatives and processes such as employee relations and performance management, change management, organizational design, and compensation planning. This person will thrive working on a global HR team intent on collaborating and partnering closely on company‑wide projects and priorities. This role requires regular in‑office presence five days per week, to engage and collaborate in‑person.

Essential Functions:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and workplace concerns.
  • Partner with department leaders and the Employee Relations COE team, as appropriate, on employee relations matters such as performance management, reorganizations, and employee transitions.
  • Partner with the department leaders, hiring managers and Talent Acquisition COE to make staffing recommendations and draft job descriptions for open roles or redefined positions.
  • Oversee the full life cycle of employee engagement, starting with onboarding; partner with Operations COE, employees and leaders to ensure employees are set up for success.
  • Partner closely with HR Operations COE to ensure transactions are routed and approved accordingly.
  • Ensure integrity of data and approval flows.
  • Proven ability to coach managers through employee relations, performance management, and organizational challenges.
  • Partner with Compensation COE to make comp package recommendations to leaders for open positions, promotions, or role changes.
  • Partner with Learning & Performance COE to champion initiatives, and drive adoption of development programs to facilitate a culture of continuous learning, growth, and high performance.
  • Proven understanding of how to make data‑driven talent decisions and recommendations.
  • Administer and implement HR policies, programs, and practices, while identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance consistency, alignment, and operational effectiveness across client groups and legacy organizations, where applicable.
  • Escalate, as necessary, matters that may present liability or risk to OMC.
  • Organize, lead, and manage annual Summer Intern program.
  • Draft, coordinate, and distribute HR communications to ensure employees and leaders are informed of policies, programs, initiatives, and organizational updates.
  • Guide employees and managers to appropriate self‑service tools and resources, while responding to employee handbook and policy‑related inquiries.
  • Ensure proper administration of and compliance with Federal and State employment laws and regulations including labor, wage, immigration, EEO, and ADA.
  • Lead and support the execution of enterprise‑wide HR initiatives as they arise.
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Professional HR certification, a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience; marketing industry background, a plus.
  • Established ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels with strong desire to help others.
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to influence and lead.
  • Proven understanding and awareness of employment laws, industry trends and current practices.
  • Outstanding communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and tasks.

  • Proficient with Workday and Microsoft Office, including Teams.

US Salary Range $100,000 — $110,000 USD.
