Job summary

Gildan in Mocksville, NC, seeks an HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR at our 24/7 manufacturing facility, partnering with plant leadership to meet people needs and drive objectives.

This role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy administration, payroll systems, and time/attendance, with a focus on staff development and floor presence.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in an HR or related field strongly preferred
• HRCI or SHRM HR certification is a plus
• Minimum of 8 years progressive HR leadership experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment is preferred
• Experience in direct supervision of other HR practitioners
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (PeopleSoft, Dayforce, and ADP preferred)
• Advanced computer competency in MS Office Suite and other systems is required
• Ability to meet the needs of employees across all shifts (24/7 operation)

Who we are

The opportunity

The HR Manager supports the manufacturing effort by working with other business leaders to accomplish company gaols and business objectives. The work environment is a fully automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that operates on a 24/7 schedule and employs approximately 550 associates. The HR Manager reports to the Director of HR for US Manufacturing.

The role
