Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in community health or public benefits.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, recertification and coverage.
• Experience delivering training or TA to frontline staff or organizations.
• Familiarity with NY State Medicaid and enrollment-assistance models preferred.
• Ability to translate policy changes into actionable guidance.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments with partner organizations to identify benefits navigation gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in community health, human services, public benefits, or public-sector programs.
• Strong working knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, recertification, and coverage is required.
• Experience applying Medicaid knowledge within a program, policy, enrollment/navigation, healthcare, or community-based setting.
• Familiarity with New York State Medicaid and enrollment-assistance models strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the NY Medicaid 1115 Waiver, Social Care Networks, and Health-Related Social Needs services is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering training or technical assistance to community-based organizations or frontline staff.
• Strong research, writing, communication, facilitation, and project-management skills.
• Ability to translate complex policy changes into clear, actionable guidance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
