Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Home/Wellness Manager to oversee daily resident care in our Auburn, ME location. You will supervise frontline staff, coordinate schedules, and liaise with residents' families to ensure high-quality care that aligns with our mission.

The role emphasizes organizational skills, calm under pressure, and strong communication. A CNA/CRMA background is preferred with an emphasis on teamwork and reliability in a busy Assisted Living setting.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required; 3–5+ years caregiver experience preferred.
• CNA/CRMA experience preferred; scheduling and family communication
• Fluent English for speaking, reading and writing with supervisors, coworkers and residents
• Basic computer skills; Excel for scheduling
• Organized, flexible and calm under pressure; multi-tasking ability

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living department and care staff.
• Schedule, evaluate and support frontline care staff; report to HWD.

This position is responsible for the daily clinical aspect of the Assisted Living Department, functioning to meet all residents’ needs.

Job Description

This position is responsible for day to day operations as it relates to resident care while promoting and integrating the mission and philosophy of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. The HWM manages the care staff in AL by scheduling, evaluating, and supporting the frontline care staff while reporting to the HWD. The HWM should be in close contact with resident families and be instrumental in care plan meetings and service issues as they relate to care.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements: Level of Formal Education: HS or GED
Area of Study: General
Years of Experience: 3-5+ years caregiver experience preferred
Type of Experience: CNA/CRMA experience preferred, scheduling, communicating with families
Special Certifications: Prefer CNA
Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills, Excel for scheduling
Skills and Ability:
Need to be organized, flexible, and even tempered.
Ability to communicate with families, frontline team, and community management team to ensure optimal operational success.
