Job summary

Georgia Transmission seeks an experienced finance executive to lead the borrowing relationship with RUS and manage federal financing programs. You will oversee loan applications, advances, and required regulatory filings in support of a large capital build-out.

The role requires directing compliance with federal financing and pursuing grants and loans from other agencies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• Ten years with Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (five years with MBA).
• Experience executing debt issuances and managing lender, and/or government relationships.
• Utility, cooperative, or other capital-intensive, regulated-industry experience strongly preferred; direct experience with RUS/FFB or comparable federal financing programs is a significant plus.
• Equivalent Experience: At least fifteen (15) years experience in an area of responsibility in Finance or related field.
• Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: CFA, CPA, or CTP preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, including the ability to present to executives, lenders, investors, and rating agencies; proficient PC skills with treasury workstation experience a plus; strong financial analytical and modeling skills; working knowledge of credit rating methodologies and RUS/federal financing and covenant requirements; and a high level of expertise in dealing with financial markets, investments and debt instruments.
