Manager - Global Sourcing### Manager - Global SourcingApply: Irving-Irving Corporate Office-3939 West John Carpenter Freeway: Full time: Posted Today: R00327953Support Center - IrvingThe Manager, Global Sourcing will work with the Director, Global Sourcing, and other cross functional partners to develop and manage Michaels Private Brand sourcing strategies to deliver business objectives and KPI’s established by the company for assigned categories.**Major Activities*** Develop and execute Sourcing strategy based on product category needs.* Drive Private Brand growth through effective collaboration with internal and external partners.* Collaborate with cross functional teams to secure surety of supply. Matrix management of Global Sourcing Partners directly or indirectly through Michaels Global Sourcing Asian Offices.* Develop vendor and product solutions in support of the Merchandising strategy, ensure that the company's goals of product innovation and quality are achieved.* Deliver optimal vendor matrix that drives category growth, flexibility, speed to market and profitability.* Collaborate with offshore office to identify and evaluate an effective vendor matrix.* Leverage the vendor matrix across the company to provide the best \"cost\" and \"value\" equation.* Accountable for vendor production assignments and production allocation.* Partner with Product Development Team to understand product roadmap, development strategy and innovation needs.
