Red Nucleus is hiring a Global Benefits Manager to join our global team! This can be a hybrid role based out of our Yardley, PA office, or a full-time remote role located in the US. Candidates who can work EST hours are preferred.

How You Will Contribute

The Manager, Global Benefits is responsible for managing the administration, communication and regulatory/legal compliance of all global health & wellness plans, plan design, retirement/pension plans, and the benefit administration system. This position provides expertise and insight to senior leadership and makes recommendations for enhancement and/or changes to employee benefits package based on cost and strategic direction. Experience integrating benefits with total rewards philosophies and frameworks. The manager effectively services employees to ensure benefits are properly administered and manages all vendor relationships globally. Ensures that customer satisfaction levels are kept at or above standards.

Responsibilities:

(Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Reports to the VP, Global Human Resources and serves as a strategic partner in the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of benefits strategies.
  • Develops approaches, strategies, policies, and programs related to the efficient delivery of the Company’s group plans, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, and disability, wellness initiatives, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and the Company’s 401K retirement plan.
  • Lead self-funded medical plan strategy, including stop-loss insurance, claims analytics, vendor negotiations, and cost containment initiatives.
  • Advises and counsels employees on benefit-related matters including state and federal employment regulations.
  • Integrate benefits offerings into the broader Total Rewards framework, ensuring alignment with compensation, equity, and recognition strategies.
  • Administers annual open enrollment process, including working with vendors and internal stakeholders during the renewal period and preparing recommendations for management.
  • Administers Leave of Absence (LOA) process, inclusive of FMLA, Short-Term, and Long-Term disability claims.
  • Develop and implement procedures as needed to ensure proper internal controls in the benefit area that also include co-dependencies with other departments (i.e., payroll, finance)
  • Manages relationships with vendors and third-party administrators to ensure efficient plan administration.
  • Manages benefits administration system.
  • Evaluates present programs and plays an integral role in country-by-country integration.
  • Supports all benefit onboarding integration for new acquisitions.
  • Reconciles benefit vendor invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and multi-state regulatory requirements relative to employee benefit plans.
  • In conjunction with global Brokers, analyze and administer international employee benefit programs to ensure legal compliance, including changes in benefits as may be impacted by new laws and reforms.
  • Serve as a key resource internationally for HR, Finance and other internal contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits policies and regulations.
  • Manage welfare benefit program, including billing, enrollment, and act as liaison with broker and insurance companies.
  • Proactively manage employee communications.
  • Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis.

About You

  • BA/BS in Human Resources or related field, Master’s degree a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years benefits experience, with at least 3 years in a global or international role.
    • Experience with managing self-funded U.S. health plans required.
  • Proven experience designing, managing, and evaluating benefits programs across multiple regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
  • Experience working with vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators on a global scale.
  • Strong knowledge of international benefits practices, compliance requirements, and employment laws (e.g., GDPR, ACA, etc.).
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align benefits programs with global business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and global vendors.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to lead global benefits initiatives.
  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze cost implications of benefits programs.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, and HRIS/benefits databases. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and juggle multiple projects and priorities. Strong knowledge of ERISA and regulatory issues.
