Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all tasks necessary to accomplish K2’s benefits and payroll administration objectives.
  2. Partner with Global Head of Human Resources and team to coordinate the annual open enrollment process.
  3. Create and drive global benefits strategy and programs grounded in competitive practice and operational excellence that support attracting and retaining a talented and engaged workforce.
  4. Evaluate administrative costs and pricing of benefits and recommend strategies to provide competitive and cost-effective offerings.
  5. Direct management of health and welfare providers to maximize service levels for plan management and participants while negotiating favorable contract terms and conditions.
  6. Ensure benefits compliance with all applicable regional and local laws.
  7. Uphold and apply regional and local laws that guide payroll administrative practices.
  8. Maintain benefits portal on Company's intranet site, ensuring employees have access to the latest benefits information.
  9. Provide exceptional and high level of support to employees while building strong business relationships.
  10. Assist in the planning of Company benefit strategies, events, plan designs, and communications.
  11. Manage global payroll processing for employees and contract resources.
  12. Ensure accurate and timely closure of timesheets and reporting.
  13. Handle garnishments and ensure payroll is appropriately funded.
  14. Resolve any discrepancies and respond to payroll inquiries.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business-related area.
  2. 7+ years benefits and payroll administration experience at a global company.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Experience with global benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, spending accounts, commuter benefits, retirement plans, STD/LTD, voluntary & supplemental offerings, wellness programs, and COBRA.
  5. Experience with leave of absence administration; working with third-party administrators ensuring that leave programs are being administered timely, accurately, and in accordance with regional and local laws; calculate pay and duration of benefits while on leave.
  6. 401(k) administration experience.
  7. Advanced proficiency with payroll systems.
  8. Familiarity with time and attendance systems and practices.
  9. Proficient in payroll policy and compliance.
  10. Strong auditing skills, especially related to payroll functions.
  11. Ability to resolve discrepancies in payroll.
