We are the only U.S. company with a fully integrated rare earth supply chain—from mining and refining to advanced metal and magnet manufacturing. These materials are the foundation of physical AI—the convergence of computation, movement, and control.

We hire ambitious, mission-driven people who want to tackle complex challenges and shape the future of strategic industries. Our culture is rooted in teamwork, resiliency, and integrity, with a deep commitment to operational excellence and national purpose. • Analyze financial results and account activity to identify trends, classification issues, unusual transactions, or potential close matters requiring follow-up.
  • Partner with AP, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Inventory/Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Operations to support complete and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over assigned accounting areas, including SOX control execution, review evidence, segregation of duties, and timely remediation of control or process issues.

  • Use accounting and finance systems, including SAP, Blackline, Power BI, OneStream, Microsoft Office products, and other close or reporting tools, to execute work efficiently and improve process visibility.
  • Manage assigned accounting areas and provide coaching, review, and prioritization support to accounting team members.
  • Serve as a primary contact for the general ledger close process, including coordination of close timelines, status updates, and issue escalation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase close efficiency, reconciliation quality, control effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Participate as a key stakeholder in accounting system implementations, configuration changes, and process design initiatives affecting the general ledger close.
  • Assist Accounting leadership with financial presentations, ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other accounting matters as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA license.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in general ledger, corporate accounting, or similar areas at a publicly traded company, and/or Big 4 public accounting experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, mining, industrial, or other complex operating environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial accounting concepts, account reconciliations, journal entry review, and month-end close processes.
