Homestead Healthcare in Muskegon, MI seeks a qualified Manager to lead the caregiver team, ensuring resident well‑being and addressing residents' needs with empathy. The role focuses on supervising care delivery, staff coordination, and quality oversight.

The position requires strong communication across staff and management, hands-on shift coverage, onboarding, QA audits, and on‑call duties. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the elderly and managing staff.
• Rotating on call; Able to cover all three shifts as needed.
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations.
• A positive attitude and the capacity to work as a team.
• Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• The ability to arrive on time for every shift.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review shift supervisor checklists.

• Follow up on issues, review 24 hours logs -corrective actions for med errors, absences, etc.
• Assess any care complaints.

• Conduct QA audits, review Incident reports/med errors and put interventions/training in place - involve nurse as necessary.
• Conduct monthly care audit on all resident assistants, conduct monthly med pass audit on all med tech’s.
