Berklee College of Music is seeking a Manager for Global Programs and Partnerships to lead international and domestic initiatives from campus in Boston. The role emphasizes collaboration, travel, budgeting, and cross-cultural engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 4 years of experience in higher education or performing arts management.
• Active performing musician with formal musical training.
• Multilingual abilities preferred.
• Strong financial acumen, budget tracking skills, and proficiency with database and office software systems.
• Comfortable working on campus with regular global travel (up to two weeks monthly) and occasional evening/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Managing event logistics, travel arrangements, program scheduling, and budget reconciliations across domestic and global initiatives.
• Leading travel teams to partner locations worldwide, overseeing on-the-ground delivery of global programs, workshops and engagements.
• Serving as a primary liaison for global partner inquiries, advising students on credit transfer processes, and supporting proposal processing.
• Hiring, training, and supervising student assistants, temporary staff, consultants, and alumni artists while overseeing sub-contracted teams.
• Maintaining departmental technology, databases, and reporting systems to ensure seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

Hiring Range: $70,000 to $80,000; salary dependent on relevant experience and education.
