Job summary

Hudson Regional Health in Bayonne, NJ is seeking a Food Service Manager to oversee the Food & Nutrition Department and support the Director and Supervisor in delivering safe, high-quality meals. This full-time, non-union role requires coordination of staffing, training, and compliance with food safety standards, with Monday–Friday schedule and weekends as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Food Service Manager plans, you are responsible for assisting the Director with managing all aspects of

the operational needs of the Food & Nutrition Department. You will coordinate the tasks with the Director and

Supervisor. You will ensure the overall efficiency of food and nutrition services. Assumes authority and

• Ensure that food is properly portioned, plates are attractively presented, and service meets established standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, infection control practices, and facility policies
• Ensure that the team complies with safety regulations and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the Registered Clinical Dietitian.
• Performs all other related duties.

Required

• Minimum three years’ supervisory experience in hospital food and nutrition required.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
• High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
