Job summary

Hudson Regional Health in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Patient Registration Clerk to join our admissions team. You will interview patients, collect information, and ensure accurate records for inpatient and outpatient services.

The role emphasizes patient service, confidentiality, and efficient handling of registration forms. Night shift 10:30pm–7:00am, with Fridays and Saturdays as scheduled, offering a stable schedule and opportunities to contribute to a patient-first care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with patient registration or healthcare workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Interviews incoming patients or their representatives for all of registration; inpatients, outpatients, emergency room, pre-admission, and clinic patients. Is responsible for obtaining information that is accurate and complete. Must maintain a positive public image to patients, hospital or medical staff. Prepares registration forms and obtains signatures as required. Answers patients' questions on admission policies. Is responsible for maintaining confidentiality of the patient registration information.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Relevant experience preferred
• Skills: Excellent communication skills both orally and written. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Night shift 10:30pm to 7am. . Every Friday and Saturday. 32-hours per pay period
