Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. seeks a Manager of Financial Systems to lead Oracle EPM and BlackLine efforts, driving process transformation and governance across Record-to-Report and Planning functions.

The role reports to Finance leadership and collaborates with IT, Internal Audit, FP&A, and external partners to deliver automation, enhanced reporting, and strengthened controls. Applicants should have strong accounting and technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial systems, finance transformation, accounting systems, or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience administering Oracle EPM applications.
• 3+ years of experience supporting and configuring BlackLine solutions.
• 3+ years of hands on SmartView reporting experience
• Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EBS, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and system implementations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Preferred CPA, CMA, PMP, or related certification.
• Experience with Oracle FCCS, EPBCS/PBCS, EDM, and Narrative Reporting.
• Experience with Oracle Data Integration, EPM Automate, Smart View, and REST APIs.
• Experience with JDE Enterprise One
• Understanding of SOX compliance and financial controls.
• Experience in a publicly traded company environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Systems Leadership: Oversee Oracle EPM and BlackLine; govern platform roadmap and integrations.
• Oracle EPM Administration & Development: Manage FCCS, Planning, budgeting, and data workflows; ensure close processes.
• BlackLine Administration & Process Optimization: Configure, automating reconciliations and close activities.
