Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Manager FP&A – CapEx to own the company-wide CapEx budgeting and forecasting. You will develop and maintain the CapEx LRP model and deliver executive materials for Board meetings, CEO briefings, and earnings calls.

You will drive improvements in FP&A processes, partner with diverse teams, and help translate operational drivers into capital investments and financial insights critical to growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial planning tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive or SAP.
• Retail, consumer products or multi-unit operating environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, decks and data verifications for accuracy.

Position OverviewThe Manager FP&A – CapEx’s primary responsibility is full ownership of CapEx budgeting and forecasting for the entire organization. The Manager will perform these tasks using complex Excel models and tools such as Oracle Projects. The position will work closely with all levels of the organization and is critical to the future growth of the company.A Day in the LifeHave full ownership of monthly forecasts to include preparing monthly decks, reporting and verification of data for accuracy and completeness.Own the annual budget submission process; establish timelines, set-up steering committee meetings, gather & consolidate submissions and create deck for CEO & Board presentations.Develop, own and maintain the CapEx Long-Range Planning (LRP) model, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, capital allocation priorities and financial targets.Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, controls and reporting frameworks to enhance forecasting accuracy, efficiency, scalability, reliability and the overall relevance of financial insights. Proactively identify process gaps, risks and blind spots, develop recommendations to improve cash flow predictability and financial outcomes and lead the implementation of solutions with a strong bias for action.Prepare and deliver executive-level financial analyses, presentations and briefing materials for Board of Directors meetings, earnings calls and leadership reviewsComplete various ad hoc projects by independently structuring problems, gathering, organizing and analyzing data and creating insightful analyses for FP&A leadership.You'll Come WithEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any other quantitative field.Experience:5-7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Capital Planning, Operations Finance, or a related finance function.Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial reporting.Experience with financial planning tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive, SAP, or similar platforms; implementation or process improvement experience is a plus.Background in retail, consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, multi-unit operations, or other large-scale operating environments exposure (preferred).Ability to connect operational drivers to financial performance and provide insights and recommendations that support business strategy and capital investment decisions.Burlington Stores is not able to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
