Your Mission: The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will support the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, and the development of Sun Health's nonprofit financial management strategy, participate in the development of the organization's strategic goals, and support the oversight of the financial strategy of Sun Health. Incumbent will deliver data-driven insights to upper management. A strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning is essential. Experience in the Senior Living industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop and perform complex, insightful data analysis from a variety of data sources including resident care, financial, satisfaction, and demographic data
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Develop improvements in operating performance through enhancements and/or creation of key performance indicators together with leading and lagging indicators based on relationships between performance and outcomes.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide analysis and insights for estimating the return on various investments the organization makes or is considering (including staffing, operations, various insurance contracts and related reimbursement.
• Partner with leadership to drive the strategic direction of data analytics, but also responsible for the implementation, planning and execution.
• Build a culture of continuous innovation and remain on the cutting edge of new analytical tools, data visualization approaches and predictive analytics methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned or necessary to successfully support the finance functions of Sun Health.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or corporate finance.
• Experience in the senior living industry preferred.
• Proficiency in financial software (NetSuite, SAP, Excel, Power BI, etc.).
• Demonstrates the ability to work with people in a way that build effective teams committed to organizational goals.
• Possess current or ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
