Job summary

Connor Group is seeking professionals with a strong background in accounting, finance, and consulting to deliver Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and operational accounting services. The role emphasizes leading teams, managing projects, and driving process improvements for clients across industries.

Applicants should have 5–7 years of consulting or industry experience, CPA or MBA preferred, and be willing to travel about 10%.

• Understanding of key business and finance processes (close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash).

• Exposure to financial systems and tools beneficial (NetSuite, Oracle, BlackLine, Zuora, Coupa, Hyperion).
• Willingness to travel about 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete assigned project areas with high-quality deliverables and oversight for junior team members.
• Prepare project plans with milestones, deliverables, and risk reporting.
• Lead engagement team and client meetings and presentations.
• Lead and train junior team members.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and client billings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans, including key milestones and deliverables, and track and report on status, progress and risks

• Develop specialized expertise in multiple areas, solutions, and/or technology tools

Desired Skills & Experience

• Good understanding of key business and finance processes (close process, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, equity, etc.)
• Experience in helping companies identify improvements in key process areas and in assisting with implementing those improvements
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience managing teams and projects
• Business consulting experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Exposure to financial systems and tools beneficial (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, BlackLine, Zuora, Coupa, Hyperion, Business Intelligence Databases)
• CPA and or MBA beneficial
• Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt beneficial
• Minimum 5 -7 years consulting/industry experience required
• A willingness to travel (About 10%)
