Volaris Group is seeking a Manager, Finance & Internal Controls to lead financial reporting, ensure strong internal controls, and drive risk-based reviews across its portfolio. This fully remote role requires occasional in-person meetings in Mississauga, with autonomy, flexible culture, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The candidate will review month-end close, coordinate with head office, and support acquisitions, ensuring IFRS compliance and robust COSO-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years progressively responsible finance experience in a software company.
• CA or CPA designation required.
• Strong technical accounting and internal controls knowledge.
• Experience with risk management and internal audit.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review month-end and quarter-end close deliverables for the Portfolio's Business Units.
• Act as liaison with Volaris Head Office; disseminate accounting and reporting updates to Portfolio finance teams.
• Review acquisition-related deliverables for compliance with Volaris/Constellation policies.
• Work with portfolio companies' finance teams to improve efficiencies in the financial close process; coach finance teams.
• Develop a risk-based internal audit plan to address frequent control gaps across the portfolio.
• Assist in integration of new acquisitions to align reporting cycle and requirements.

This role will be accountable for financial reporting, variance analysis, internal controls, and business reviews across all portfolio companies.
