AbbVie seeks a Manager, Field Tools & Analytics to run the field tools program and day‑to‑day operations. You will lead a support team, coordinate with Franchise Teams, Commercial Ops, IT, Training, OEC and Legal, and ensure consistent system management as directed by the Associate Director.

You will drive weekly tool updates, partner on data methodology, and review enhancement requests while maintaining strong relationships with field leadership and analytics teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years in project management, 3+ years analytics/operations.
Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical compliance.

Responsibilities

Act as SME and day-to-day contact for Oncology field tools.
Execute weekly/monthly tool updates and partner with teams on data methodology.
Review and action system enhancement and requests.
Design, deploy, train, communicate and manage field tools and analytics.
Partner with BTS, MABI, Field Training and Franchise teams to deploy solutions.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
Escalate larger architectural or strategic decisions to the Associate Director.
Liaise between field, Franchise Teams, Commercial Operations, IT, Training, OEC and Legal.
Present at sales calls and support field meetings.
Manage vendor partnerships on projects including timelines and budget.
Identify training and communication opportunities to drive adoption.

The Manager, Field Tools & Analytics is responsible for the day-to-day operational execution of the field tools strategy set by the Associate Director. This role manages the support team, executes communications to field and home office colleagues, and acts as the primary operational liaison between Franchise Teams, Commercial Operations, IT, Training, OEC, and Legal. This position reports to the Associate Director, Field Tools & Analytics.

This role is accountable for operational execution, field-facing liaison work, and day-to-day system management. Strategic direction, technology roadmap, and solution architecture are owned by the Associate Director.

Franchise & Operations Management

Act as Subject Matter Expert and day-to-day point of contact for Oncology field tools, supporting onboarding of new franchise teams, new hires, and field transfers.
Execute weekly/monthly tool updates and partner with Targeting, IC Teams, and development teams on data methodology and enhancements.
Partner with business stakeholders to review, discuss, and action system enhancement and process improvement requests.

Day-to-Day System Management

Execute design, deployment, training, communications, and ongoing management of field tools, data validation, and sales force analytics per the roadmap defined by the Associate Director.
Partner with BTS, MABI, Field Training, and Franchise teams to deploy and maintain field-facing solutions.
Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline operations and reduce cycle time; escalated larger architectural or strategic decisions to the Associate Director.

Field & Internal Partner Liaison

Serve as the operational liaison between the field, Franchise Teams, Commercial Operations, IT, Training, OEC, and Legal.
Present at sales force team calls, support field meetings, facilitate focus groups, and demonstrate system capabilities to internal stakeholders.
Manage vendor partnerships on specific projects, including timelines, budget, and communications.

Communications & Training Execution

Identify training, education, and communication opportunities to drive system adoption.
Partner with stakeholders to execute the deployment and communication approach defined by leadership.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships with Sales Directors, Analytics leadership, and Field Planning Analytics teams.
Establish credibility as a trusted operational partner with field sales management and functional support teams.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
Manager: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, marketing/sales operations, or information technology, plus 3+ years of analytical or commercial operations experience (healthcare industry preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, compliance regulations, and standards.

Preferred Technical Skills

Salesforce/Veeva CRM Proficiency — hands-on system administration and support experience.
Data Analytics Tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) — hands-on report/dashboard building.
SQL or equivalent database querying for day-to-day data requests.
Basic Python/R knowledge for analysis support.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.
