Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Manager, Field Enablement to bridge the Field Learning COE and field operations, ensuring learning programs are deployed, delivered, and improved based on feedback. This role oversees delivery standards, readiness processes, and training capability programs across customer and field environments.

Reporting to the Director, Field Training, you will partner with Learning Architects, Instructional Designers, and Operations leaders to translate learning into measurable field

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Technical Training, Engineering Technology, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical training, learning enablement, field operations, customer training, or workforce development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading training teams, enablement programs, or capability development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting distributed learning environments and Train-the-Trainer programs.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with learning, operations, engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment of new learning programs across field and customer environments, including onboarding, certification, coaching, and professional development.
  • Establish and maintain field learning readiness processes to ensure successful launch and adoption of training programs.
  • Define delivery standards and ensure learning programs are delivered consistently and align with defined curriculum standards and objectives.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to support capability development initiatives tied to operational priorities.
  • Analyze and communicate field feedback to drive curriculum improvements and learning innovation.
  • Identify gaps in training, performance support, content, or deployment approaches and partner with COE teams to address them.
  • Develop scalable field enablement processes and best practices across customer and operational environments.
  • Partner with Learning Technology teams to support implementation and adoption of emerging learning solutions, including AR/VR, simulation-based training, digital performance support, and AI-enabled learning tools.

What we need

Symbotic is seeking a Manager, Field Enablement, to serve as the strategic link between the Field Learning Center of Excellence (COE) and field operations. This roleis responsible forensuring our learning programs are effectively deployed, consistently delivered, and continuously improved based on operational feedback and performance outcomes.

The Manager, Field Enablement owns the delivery standards, readiness processes, trainer capability programs, and deployment support systems that enable successful adoption of learning programs across customer and field environments. This leader partners closely with Learning Architects, Instructional Designers, Learning Technologists, Documentation teams, Operations leaders, and field trainers to ensure learning translates into measurable field performance. This role will report to theDirector,Field Training.

The Field Learning team develops and delivers learning programs that prepare field teams and customers to successfullyoperateand supportSymbotic'sadvanced automation systems. The team partners with Learning, Operations, Engineering, Product, Documentation, and customer-facing teams to build scalable capabilities that support operational readiness and field performance.

  • Partner with Learning Technology teams to support implementation and adoption of emerging learning solutions, including AR/VR, simulation-based training, digital performance support, and AI-enabled learning tools.

Whatyou’llneed
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Technical Training, Engineering Technology, Operations Management, ora relatedfield, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical training, learning enablement, field operations, customer training, or workforce development.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading training teams, enablement programs, or capability development initiatives.

  • Experience supporting distributed learning environments and Train-the-Trainer programs.

  • Strong understanding of training delivery, certification programs, curriculum deployment, and performance support.

  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with learning, operations, engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.

  • Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Exposure to AR/VR, simulation-based training, digital learning technologies, or AI-enabled learning solutions preferred.

  • Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office) based in Wilmington, MA office.

Our environment
  • Up to 50% of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • Employees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines. Eligible employees may receive a corporate credit card based on role and travel requirements, but a personal credit card may be needed during onboarding until the corporate card is issued.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $108,000.00 - $148,500.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
