Job summary

Brobston Group LLC seeks a Manager of Fashion Expertise based in the South Coast Plaza boutique and supporting the Neiman Marcus Fashion Island boutique. This role develops boutique teams across collections, product knowledge, luxury service standards, styling and client experience.

You will coach Advisors, facilitate styling development, partner with Boutique Leadership to elevate performance, and support onboarding and talent progression across our retail network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of luxury fashion, retail, or hospitality experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in retail training, coaching, and evaluating performance.
• Willingness to travel frequently between boutiques in the market.
• Flexible schedule; ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-boutique and off-floor training on collections, savoir-faire, product knowledge, and service behaviors.
• Coach Style Advisors and Fashion Advisors to enhance styling skills, curate looks, and deliver personalized client experiences.
• Animate styling workshops, monitor training effectiveness, and co-create development action plans with Boutique Leadership.
• Partner with Fashion Expertise Home Office and Boutique Leadership on collection messaging, VOC insights, KPI tracking, and local retail strategies.
• Design and support new hire onboarding and provide on-site coaching, evaluations, and structured feedback to managers and advisors.

The Manager, Fashion Expertise is based primarily in the South Coast Plaza boutique and also supports the Neiman Marcus Fashion Island boutique, acting as the liaison between the Fashion Expertise Office and retail teams. This role develops boutique teams across collections, product knowledge, luxury service standards, styling and client experience, driving interactive learning on and off the boutique floor. The Manager coaches advisors, facilitates styling development, partners with Boutique Leadership to sustain and elevate boutique performance, and supports onboarding and talent progression.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging in-boutique and off-floor training on collections, savoir-faire, product knowledge, and service behaviors.
• Coach Style Advisors and Fashion Advisors to enhance styling skills, curate looks, and deliver personalized client experiences.
• Animate styling workshops, monitor training effectiveness, and co-create development action plans with Boutique Leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in retail training, coaching, and evaluating performance, preferably in the luxury sector.
• Ability to travel frequently across boutiques within the market and support store-level initiatives.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays; ability to lift 15 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
