Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations - Plumbing License

Position Summary:

Walmart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.

Role Details:

• Approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Collaborate directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Handle reporting and analytics.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to ensure compliance with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with regulatory requirements, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections according to mechanical or building codes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in general facilities services or building maintenance, or 5+ years in related fields.
• Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop team members.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills with experience in root cause and breakdown analysis.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Current OK Plumbing Contractor license in good standing.

Benefits and Compensation:

Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $180,000 per year, with additional performance-based bonuses. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree. Must hold a valid Oklahoma plumbing contractor license in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in general maintenance, supervising staff, and working on cross-functional teams.
• Experience in commercial electrical work.
