Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities professional to lead and supervise upkeep, safety, and reliability of building systems and equipment in a healthcare environment.

You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with departments, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe patient-centered facility with efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ordering parts and supplies related to building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to prioritize assignments.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements from DNV, AHCA, OSHA, NFPA, and other health care related agencies.
• Must have demonstrated competence with all building automation systems, DDC Controls, Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, Boilers, Chillers, Air Handlers, HVAC/R.
• Experience working on pumps, chillers, air handlers, heating and steam boilers, basic plumbing repairs.
• Read and interpret blue prints.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Collaborates with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks do not interfere with patient care.
• Ensures a safe, well-maintained environment for patients, family, physicians, staff, and visitors.
• Coordinates and performs preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Manages and monitors all aspects of maintenance and construction projects to meet quality standards.
