Job summary

Campbell Oil Company is seeking a Facilities Dispatch Manager in Elizabethtown, NC to oversee daily maintenance operations across all Retail locations. You will serve as the central contact for maintenance requests, provide initial troubleshooting by phone, and dispatch technicians using Ecotrak.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on safety and efficiency across car washes and facilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or administrative training preferred.
  • Experience in dispatching, maintenance coordination, or a helpdesk support role preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues over the phone.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with work order management systems (Ecotrak experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance systems (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance-related issues reported by store teams.
  • Provide initial troubleshooting support over the phone to diagnose and resolve basic maintenance concerns.
  • Oversee the facilities work order software to ensure all work orders are handled within the set time frame.
  • Supervise, schedule, and support maintenance technicians; assign work, monitor performance, ensure safety compliance, and optimize labor efficiency.
  • Ensure all facilities and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies; maintain documentation and inspection records.
  • Identify and communicate urgent safety or operational issues.
  • Follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion and minimal business interruption.
  • Utilize facility software and technology, and provide regular work order progress updates to Director of Facilities and Projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when external support is required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service history, and technician assignments.
  • Identify reoccurring issues and elevate or recommend solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventative maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, refrigeration, fuel systems, and car washes to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned Automatic Rollover Car Wash locations.
  • Ensure all car wash equipment is operating properly and coordinate repairs when issues arise.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the wash facilities including tunnels, vacuum areas, payment kiosks, signage, and surrounding grounds.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure equipment performance, site safety, and operational standards are maintained.
  • Support new car wash openings, upgrades, and equipment installations when required.
  • Review site performance including wash counts, revenue trends, and operational efficiency.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Facilities Dispatch Manager is responsible for managing daily maintenance operations across all Retail locations. This role serves as the central point of communication for maintenance requests, providing first-level troubleshooting support to store teams and efficiently dispatching technicians using the Ecotrak Work Order system. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
