Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Develops and executes departmental policies, operational plans, and capacity strategies while managing capital,operating, and construction budgets.
• Oversees daily building operations, utility and energy management,groundsmaintenance, and furniture/equipment inventories to ensure safe, efficient plant functioning.
• Acts as the primary liaison for remodeling and construction, managing the entire vendor lifecycle from bids and contract compliance to project execution and system shutdowns.
• Establishesa safe work environment through audits and training, ensuring strict documentation and compliance with local, State, Federal, and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
• Leadsandmentorsstaff and contract labor, overseeing scheduling, recruitment training, performance evaluations, and operational excellence.
• Serves as an organizational change agent to drive process efficiencies whilemaintainingstrong communications with internal leadership, external partners, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma orequivalent.

Work Experience:

• Six years of experience in facilities management, physical plant operations, or building maintenance for a large facility.
