Job summary

Hearts & Science in Atlanta, part of Omnicom, seeks a Manager, Experience Planning to lead day-to-day liaison between the client, vendor partners, and the media community ensuring plans meet brand objectives and guidelines. You will also collaborate with Integrated Planners and Data Science to integrate campaigns with creative partners for goal fulfillment.

As a key team leader, you will supervise Associates and Senior Associates, manage timelines, and drive cross-platform deal opportunities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cross-channel branding strategy or media/communications
• Proven, strong team management, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of advertising, marketing and media principles; basics of psychology, economics, journalism
• Solid understanding of media types: Broadcast, Print, Outdoor and Digital
• Understanding of media data sources and how information is reported

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training Associates and Senior Associates on day-to-day activities and planning processes
• Managing the flow of client media issues, creating solutions and resolving problems
• Establishing timetables for development of media plans

As a Manager, Experience Planning, you will play a key role as the day-to-day liaison between the client, vendor partners, and the media community ensuring that the client’s media plans are developed and implemented per brand objectives and guidelines. You will also collaborate with other disciplines (Integrated Planners, Data Science, etc.) and partner creative agencies to ensure plans are integrated and fulfilling campaign goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cross-channel branding strategy or media/communications


• Proven, strong team management, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills


• Knowledge of principles of advertising, marketing and media; a basic knowledge of disciplines underlying these principles (i.e., psychology, economics, journalism)


• A solid understanding of media types, including Broadcast, Print, Outdoor and Digital


• Knowledge of the dynamics of media - how each media element performs alone, how they perform together and how they are constantly changing


• Understanding of the skills and functions of the Investment side of the business, as well as knowledge of Strategic Business Units’ competencies


• Interest in the client’s industry and environment within which they operate


• Knowledge of syndicated research, ad serving, media billing tools a plus


• Ability to understand media data sources in terms of what is measured, the method, and information reported


• Appreciation of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements


• Strong presentation skills
